We want to be clear about something upfront: Vendlyz does not sell your personal information to anyone, and we have no plans to do so. The right to correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you. The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. The right to limit how we use your sensitive personal information. The right to not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

What Does “Selling” or “Sharing” Mean Under California Law?
Under the CCPA/CPRA, “selling” personal information means more than exchanging it for money. It covers any transfer of personal data to a third party for something of value โ including monetary payment, services, or other benefits.
“Sharing” refers to making personal information available to third parties for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising โ for example, allowing an ad network to track your activity across different websites to serve you targeted ads.
Vendlyz does not engage in either practice. We do not sell your data for profit, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The third parties we work with โ our payment processors (Stripe and PayPal), shipping and fulfillment partners, and analytics tools โ only receive the information they need to help us run our business and serve you. They are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
How to Submit an Opt-Out Request
Even though we do not sell or share your personal information, you have every right to submit a formal opt-out request. We will acknowledge and honor it.
To opt out, send an email to contact@vendlyz.com with the subject line: “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”
In your email, please include:
Your full name. The email address associated with your account or order (so we can locate your records).
That is all we need from you. You do not have to provide a reason, and you do not have to fill out any forms.
We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC opt-out signal when you visit vendlyz.com, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information โ no email required.
Verification Process and Response Time
When we receive your request, we may need to verify your identity to make sure we are acting on behalf of the right person. This is to protect you โ we do not want someone else making changes to your data without your knowledge.
Verification is simple. We will match the information in your email against the records we have on file. In most cases, confirming your name and email address is enough. If we need anything else, we will reach out.
Once verified, we will process your request and send you a confirmation within 15 business days. Under the CCPA/CPRA, we are required to respond within this timeframe. If your request is complex or we receive a large volume of requests, we may extend this by an additional 45 calendar days โ but we will let you know if that happens and explain why.
Authorized Agents
You may designate someone else to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. If you choose to use an authorized agent, we will need:
Written permission signed by you, authorizing the agent to act on your behalf. Verification of both your identity and the agent’s identity.

Right to Non-Discrimination
Exercising your privacy rights will never result in any negative consequence from us. We will not:
Deny you access to our products or services. Charge you different prices or rates. Provide you with a lower quality of service. Suggest in any way that you will receive different treatment.
Your rights are your rights. Using them changes nothing about how we serve you.
Important Notes
This page applies specifically to personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. It does not apply to publicly available information, lawfully obtained truthful information that is a matter of public concern, or information that is deidentified or aggregated.
Opting out does not mean we delete your data. If you would also like us to delete your personal information, you can submit a separate deletion request by emailing contact@vendlyz.com with the subject line “Delete My Personal Information.” Our deletion process is described in our Privacy Policy.
We may still share your personal information when necessary to complete a transaction you requested (for example, sending your shipping address to our fulfillment partner so your book can be delivered), to detect and prevent fraud, or to comply with legal obligations. These uses are permitted under the CCPA/CPRA and are not considered “selling” or “sharing.”
We review and update our data practices regularly. If anything changes in the future regarding how we handle personal information, we will update both this page and our Privacy Policy, and the “Last updated” date will reflect the change.
