Refund and Returns Policy

We want every book you receive from Vendlyz to meet your expectations. If something is not right β€” whether you changed your mind or received a damaged item β€” we are here to make it easy. Below you will find everything you need to know about returns, exchanges, refunds, and cancellations.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. This applies to all eligible items purchased through vendlyz.com. If 30 days have passed since delivery, we are unfortunately unable to process a return.

Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges

To qualify for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

The item must be within the 30-day return window. The book must be unused, unread, and in the same condition you received it. It must be returned in its original packaging with any included materials intact. You will need your order number and the email address used at checkout.

If the item does not meet these conditions, we reserve the right to decline the return or issue a partial refund at our discretion.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned. These include:

Books that show signs of use, markings, water damage, or wear caused by the customer. Spiral-bound editions that have been uncoiled or damaged after delivery. Gift cards or promotional items. Any item explicitly marked as final sale on its product page.

If you are unsure whether your item is eligible, reach out to us before shipping it back.

How to Return or Exchange an Item

Returning a book is straightforward. Here is how it works:

Step 1 β€” Contact us at contact@vendlyz.com with your order number and a brief explanation of why you are returning the item. Step 2 β€” Our team will review your request and respond within 1 business day with a return authorization and shipping instructions. Step 3 β€” Pack the book securely in its original packaging and ship it back using the method provided in your return authorization email.

Please do not send returns without contacting us first. Items returned without authorization may not be processed.

Reason for Return

When you reach out to us, we will ask for a reason. This helps us improve our service. Common reasons include ordering the wrong title, receiving a duplicate, the book not matching its description, or simply changing your mind. Whatever the reason, we will work with you to find a fair solution.

Return Shipping Costs

For defective, damaged, or incorrect items β€” we cover the return shipping cost entirely. You pay nothing.

For change-of-mind returns (wrong title, no longer wanted, etc.) β€” the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. Original shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable in this case.

Return Method

We recommend using a trackable shipping service when sending your return. Vendlyz is not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit without tracking. Please keep your shipping receipt and tracking number until your refund has been processed.

Condition of Returned Items

Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the book to make sure it meets the eligibility criteria described above. If everything checks out, we will proceed with your refund or exchange. If the item arrives in a condition that does not qualify β€” for example, with visible wear, annotations, or missing packaging β€” we will contact you to discuss next steps.

Restocking Fee

We do not charge a restocking fee on any return. The amount refunded will be the full purchase price of the item (minus original shipping costs for change-of-mind returns, as noted above).

Refund Process

After your return is received and approved, your refund will be processed within 3 to 5 business days. The refund will go back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional few business days for the amount to appear in your account.

You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued on our end.

Exchange Policy

Want a different title, format, or edition instead? No problem. Contact us at contact@vendlyz.com with your order number and the item you would like in exchange. We will guide you through the process. Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the replacement item is a different price, we will either charge or refund the difference accordingly.

Damaged or Defective Products

If your book arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Include a photo of the issue along with your order number β€” this helps us resolve things faster. We will arrange a return at no cost to you and send a replacement or full refund, depending on your preference and availability.

Refused and Undeliverable Packages

If a package is refused at delivery or returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, we will issue a refund for the product cost minus the original shipping fee. If the return was caused by an error on our end, you will receive a full refund including shipping.

Lost, Stolen, or “Delivered” but Not Received

If tracking shows your order as delivered but you have not received it, here is what we suggest:

Check around your delivery area β€” porches, mailboxes, side doors, or with neighbors. Allow 2 additional business days, as carriers sometimes mark items delivered before final drop-off. Contact the carrier directly using your tracking number for more details.

If the package still cannot be located, reach out to us within 7 days of the delivery date. We will open an investigation with the carrier and, once confirmed, offer a replacement or refund.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Plans change β€” we get it. You have a 12-hour cancellation window from the time you place your order. If you contact us within that window, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund.

After 12 hours, your order may have already entered processing or been sent to our fulfillment partner. At that point, cancellations cannot be guaranteed. If the order has already shipped, you would need to follow our standard return process once it arrives.
